I recd. a 1099int for all three ofmy kids 10-15 years old...can I just toss them aside?

That depends on how much they're for. If the income for any given child is under $1700 for the year, then yes, you can just toss them aside.

I agree that it depends on how much interest there was, but if one of the kids has over $850 in unearned income and you claim him as a dependent he will have to file a return of his own.
