On an american roulette wheel, every single bet has a 5.26% house edge.
If you bet 5 dollars on each column == there are 38 numbers on the wheel. Theoretically, in 38 spins, you win 36 times (break even in this case) and lose twice. So after 38 spins, you lose 30 dollars, and you risked 15*38= 570 dollars. 30/578=5.26%.

No matter what you do, house has a 5.26% edge.

All full bets would be a zero sum return if you do not factor the 0/00. Betting on all three 12's will return $10 to the winning set but will lose the other 2 sets. But because of the 0/00 in the long run you will actually lose all of your bets some of the time.

You Lose if it lands on ZERO - if it lands one of the dozens you are even because every $1 you put you get $2 back on top of the initial $1 so $3 in the hand. So if it cost you $3 to cover the 3 dozens then you get $3 back - IF IT DOESN'T land on ZERO

You would break even unless 0/00 would come up.

those bets pay 2 to one....if the zero or double zero does NOT hit...you get your money back, nothing more...if the green ones hit...you lose all...
