I babysit two days a week for her. She pays me a little bit to compensate. Tonight her boyfriend is flying in. She'll be back at 8:30. She wants me to drive home, wait 3 hours, and come back at 11:30 so she can pick up her boyfriend from the airport. Is this a reasonable request? Because it's really inconvenient and annoying to me. Would you agree to do it or not?

she is family so try to help her... but make her know you have things to do so while her bf is there... she has to deal with her life. Helping doesnt mean she is going to rule your life so you have to mark your limits.

Yea. Be thankful that your sister inlaw lets you see the little one. Mine for some odd reason disapproves of my brother's family and only lets anyone from our side watch their kid if no one from her side or friends are able to. Which is a real shame since I have a son almost in her daughter's age group that just adores his cousin, but never gets to see her beside holidays (even though they live 10 not even 20 minutes down the street)

I wouldn't do it because she is bringing this man over without them even being married. NOT a good example for his kids, if you have good moral background, dont do it.

It seems like she is taking advantage of you so she can have some fun with this guy. She is actually being teated with disrespect from him just using her like a 'whore' except she doesn't get paid for sex!

Sorry for the harsh words, but that is true. She is just showing her kids that it is okay to be with someone without being committed.

If she is in need, I'll agree to do it. Because she is my sister-in-law.
But anyhow, you have to make her realize that she need to make a good planing about it or next time, nobody wants to help her again.

You should never do something you really don't want to do.

Tell her it's really inconvenient for you so not this time.

Then go home and forget about her.
