Honestly you shouldn't get any names, and if you do they should be from your friends jokingly. Enough people have braces today that it's not a novelty. You'll be the person who is selfconscious and worried. Here are a couple of tips to start with, just until you get the hang of things. 1)Don't smile really big, your lips get caught on your brackets. 2)Don't eat corn on the cob, broccoli, or anything else that is easily caught in your braces. It is a pain to get out unless you have something right there. 3)Keep chapstick handy, braces tend to dry your lips out. 4)Keep your teeth and gums really clean. Everyone has braces, but it's really noticeable if your gums are red and swollen and your teeth are yellow and have buildup. I don't think you'll have to worry about names, but I hope these things help you. And everything will be worth it. You'll have a beautiful smile in the end! Good luck tomorrow.

The first 2 people pretty much mentioned all the one's I can think of. But I just want to say that I HOPE people are mature enough not to call you any names! Lots of people need the help from braces, but you know what? Once they come off...your teeth will look great and that will boost your confidence and you can walk around with a great smile!

to wrestling celeb, i disagree. i dont care that i'm a no longer guy and that i dont understand how they think of, yet do no longer replace your self significantly for absolutely everyone. you dont want a boyfriend. you desire acquaintances. dont stop band. ok, i stop band, yet that grew to become into because of the fact i didnt discover it relaxing. drama is greater my speed. and don't dedicate suicide. you're 13. i'm sorry you arent satisfied at homestead. only carry on. do no longer supply up. i'm sorry you're no longer satisfied in college. the human beings who call you names dont need to be around you. i guess they're jealous, or bored. forget approximately approximately them. they're all jerks. tell them firmly and expectantly you dont savor the call calling, or forget approximately approximately them. much greater valuable, communicate with a counselor. and no rely what proportion boys say seems are all that rely, do no longer hear to them. i'm obese, and that i now and lower back think of there is not any wish for me. yet then i see an obese female walk down the hall conserving hands together with her boyfriend. and then i see a woman with uncool outfits and glasses who isn't skinny status in a corner speaking to her boyfriend. and then i think of, "in the event that they found love, so am i able to." please do no longer die. you dont understand how a lot of human beings you're able to break.

I dont know about what stupid people will say to make themselves feel better, but I know after you have them taken off, people will say 'Wow, you have a really beautiful smile.'
