I noticed that many women who are seek black man do so because they have this perception that they are getting a certain "type" of guy. They assume that all black men eat friend chicken, love rap music, play basket ball, etc.... I'm a black male and I have been rejected by man women based on the fact that they say I lack "blackness". I'm not into hip hop but I love to have fun. Does that count for anything?

If you're a good person and treat a girl right, you shouldn't have any problems, but some people are ignorant like that. There are plenty of people out there looking for just a good person to date and not dismiss a guy b/c he's not "black enough".. silly people.

Yes and No. Most women believe that a black had to have had that culture shocks and makes him who he is. Most black men are perceived to be basket ball player or a rapper or thug. But there some black men that's not like that and there's nothing wrong with that. It all about being comfortable in who you are as an individual. Just be yourself and expand your broad on you are dating, don't let limit yourself.
