I agree with many of the previous answerers, like Sewer Gas, R-hine,Fish, Like a rolling stone that you don't have to see someone or something first in order to believe it. Have you ever seen God ? It's about FAITH. how about wind ? Pharaoh ? .
But Jesus Christ is not a tale. He really existed, around 2000 years ago, that's why people use the term B.C ( Before Christ, or Anno Domini, the year of our God). The place where He was born can be visited in Bethlechem, by Jerusalem. I think this place belongs to Palestinians.

People aren't sure what Leonardo de Vinci looked like (all we have is a sketch of an old man that we think is a self portrait) how can we be sure he existed? do you know what Musashi, Quin (founder of the Quin dynasty of China) looked like?

I'm pretty sure you don't - and if so - using the same logic how do you know he existed? Because your great grandfather told your grandfather who told your father who told you. Oh wait, I don't know what you look like - maybe you don't exist.
