I've been having a headache on and off for about 3 days, the pain is usually on the left side of my head and sometimes goes into my neck/shoulder, and can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, but it is usually pretty painful to me. Anyone have an idea what this is? Also I just got done with my mid terms last week and was extremely nervous for a few, does this have anything to do with it?

Also, yes, I do have allergies, although they are usually in the spring, and I have had sinus infections before.

Oh, feel better soon sweetie...Stress comes to us in various ways...Do you have sinus or allergy issues? That is magnified five fold with the onset of outside pressure/stress...try:
Excedrin Sinus Headache. Every one is different, but like you, my headache persisted on that left side, especially while laying down and trying to relax, regular Excedrin didn't work, and then I realized, I had been sniffling and going through some allergy symptoms...I took Excedrin Sinus Headache and I am doing much better....It doesn't hurt to try... and maybe lay down relax, turn on some smooth soft music...and just place a damp cold cloth over your eyes...it's quite relaxing also...Feel better soon...but Congratulations on completing your Mid Terms!...be Safe...(smiles)

Your tests could have. The stress plus you might have been sitting very stiff instead of relaxed. Tension headaches are usually in ones shoulders and neck.

you are probobly having stress headaches...or it could be your mattress- most likely the matress-this happened to my mom one time...
