I have a small room with 2 windows off my bedroom. I want to convert this room into a closet. I am concerned about the sunlight fading the clothes; on the other hand, I would like to retain as much light as possible. I don't particularly want to use blinds. I am seriously considering using the self-adhering embossed vinyl window film. Good idea or bad idea? Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you.

You should probably check to see how the windlow film works. It may allow enough filtered sunlight in to fade the clothing.

You could use a window shade, I suppose. That would give you some control over how much light the room receives.

I think that you've answered you're own question. I was going to suggest the woven bamboo look., but, I like you're answer better
