he was mostlikely high. And he may not of been talking to you. Sure you thought it was directed at you but why would someone who you dont know say that to you. The only answer to that is he was not even talking to you. and if he was talking to you, he never said any thing about if you yourself were smart or not. Point is maybe he thinks only smart people are with smart people, therefore he was telling you that you are smart.
