I ussually turn on Hard Metal when I'm trying to get over a girl. It gets my heart pumping and makes me feel Macho. Linkin Park has some really cool hard metal songs about getting over a broken heart. Especially in "Hybrid Theory". Stay away from sappy love songs. It'll remind you of the mess you're in.

"She Hates Me" by Puddle of Mud. LOL, seriously though, if you're looking to "cure" a broken heart with music, stay away from the sad 'broken heart' songs, they're just make you feel worse in the end.

Rap works... listen to some Snoop, Young Jeezy, Dre or Slim Shady. You don't wanna listen to some sappy song that reminds you of your broken heart. Listen to something that gets you pissed.
