you will be going down for a long time. All money in banks is federally insured, therefore the feds take special interest in prosecuting you. People say some federal pens are like a resort, just remember, feds do not allow conjugal visits. 10 to 20 years federal time with no conjugal visits, well lets just say Bubba has needs that he will take care of. So if you don't mind discreet relationships go ahead and try it. Remember though, with the technology available now it is not a matter of if you will get caught, it is a matter of when.

It really depends on how many banks you rob and whether you use a gun or not. I think the usual is about 15 years, in federal prison. Bank robbery is a federal crime, so the punishment is a lot worse than it probably would be in state court.

Depends on the state, the amount of money involved, any weapons displayed, anyone hurt, either by the robber, or due to the robber scaring someone and they fall and get hurt or a heart attack (yes, these are all factors), any shots fired, or any foul and abusive language used, and any damage to bank proerty, and these are all factors and they can choose to add them or omit them, depending on how bad they want to charge you???? And if the amount of money is a federal level or a state level, because a band robbery can either go federal or state???

I someone robs a bank and doesn't get enough to DISAPPEAR and never be found, he/she should spend life plus 2 for being so STUPID!
Like the idiot that robs a 7-11 and gets $26 then trips over his droopy drawers and falls flat on his face and the cops are on him like flies on a cow patty.

Robbing bank is not illegal, the getting caught is. No seriously, it depends on the amount of money taken to determine the charge. Then it depends on how good of a lawyer you have.
