For example, what is a unique motif to decorate a bathroom or kitchen or any other room? Like shells are very common for a bathroom but pirates or Hawaiiana isn't necessarily but they still fit in with it. Or for a kitchen, if you were into retro stuff, a 50s diner theme might be cute, or enchanted forest/herbs/apples if you were into medieval/fairy tales.

Along those lines, what are some other unique ideas?

it depends greatly on your own personal taste....i always loved the beach themes but tired of just doing shells etc.....love mermaids.sooooo, artist that i am....i did my guest bathroom with an "UNDERWATER THEME"..a lg. mermaid coming up side wall by the sink......all the walls are underwater 3/4 way up...then small beaches, waves...leading to sky onto the ceiling....
i put ocean floor creatures to the bottom..corals, fishes, etc...even a treasure chest.....then added 3 dimension to it...put fake jewels and pears etc..coming out of it (glued to walls) i added fish, porpoises, seagulls in resin figures.....came out so cool. neighbors kids came over and said...."OOOOHHHH , nemos house" everybody loves it....oh yea, the finishing touch is , when you lift the toilet seat...i have a pic of my hubbys head inside a shark mouth gasping for air.with gasping for air expression........!) yea, i am crazy...but unique!
dont steal all my ideas.ok?

(based on the a while) The subject for group and Ellie is attractive! And the 2nd for the recent toddler. besides the reality that i will additionally think of a few ameliorations to make the 1st much greater attractive. And my daughter's mattress room greater or much less has a "female" subject. White fabric dresser, Barbie's dreamhouse, Hannah Montana poster, girly calendar, a huge rag doll, and her sheet instruments incorporate princesses, barbie, and plant life. She additionally has her toys of path :) And a foldup princess cottage / tent that we submit now and back. i think of this might artwork for a whilst. she will replace posters and stuff as she outgrows a topic.
