Every borough has its good and bad sections so to say about which borough is the worst is not fair to the actual borough in itself.

The best thing I can tell you is to stay away from these parts...

BRONX - South Bronx, Wakefield,
BROOKLYN - East New York, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed Stuy)
MANHATTAN - Above 96th St (East Side), Above 110th (West Side)
QUEENS - Jamaica, Hollis, St. Albans
STATEN ISLAND - St. George, Mariners Harbor

I would say Staten Island, only because commuting to and from is very limited. The other boroughs are much easier to get around.

Staten Island, It is a longer commute to Manhattan and there is not as many good restaurants and stores as the other boroughs.

Stay away from Staten Island and the Bronx.

Harlem is the worst place in NY. It is the place where the black people live. The crime rates are high..

The comptons, its such a long commute.
I am in Fl I have no idea , but that would be my choice.
