It's already been tried my friend. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (extinct), Communist China and her conquered territories, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, etc.
100 Million people have died so far. The enviroment is ruined in these countries. Happy?
How do you propose this to happen? The only way you'll have a "Godless Society" is to imprison, kill, torture, and take the freedom away of those who follow a god. Not only the Christians you despise, but also the Buddhists, Wiccans, Hindus, etc., which you probably hate a least a little less.

My guess is you are young - idealistic, think you are smarter than all the dumb "brainwashed" people who believe in God and should know better.
How much have you thought this through? This works because it makes you seem smart and puts you in a place you like.
Have you considered who you are, and who God is? Let's just agree that there are billions of galaxies - millions of light years away and far beyond our knowledge and comprehension - then look at ourselves - 75 trillion cells in our bodies that reproduce themselves and allow us to reason, love, create and discover. This is only a tiny glimpse of the compexity and beauty of creation. Our conditions on Earth as they are have been calculated by mathematicians to be over 1,000,000,000,000 to one as happening randomly.
The Atheist is taking alot for granted and a fool. And do you realize the laws, the structure of our government and the rights we have are all placed on the principles of God and were set in place by educated, wise, Godly men. Ever hear of the Soviet Union, Communist China, and other megalomanical enedeavors that steal rights and force governments to rule by force and lie? If you are an American you seem to be abusing the responsibilities you have in your rights and freedoms (do you understand that?). You apparently are not a student of political philosphy - take some time and learn about government structure and their history.
With no religion ( belief in God ) there is no Americe, not in the past, not today, not in the future.

I don't care if you want to believe in purple dinosaurs, unicorns, jesus, allah, Tom Cruise, the tooth fairy, tofu, or UFO's, as long as you keep your beliefs where they belong- in your home or church, and to yourself. I believe in the separation of church and state. I am Atheist, pro-science, pro-Capitalist, anti-Communist, pro-family values (like clean air and water, treating children with kindness and care, caring for elders, being honest), a longtime Republican (I'm about to change that, since all real conservatives have been purged from the party by the Bush/Halliburton/Christian Coalition forces). I love the USA, rock and roll, beautiful women, dogs, beer, and barbequed ribs. I pay my taxes, obey the law, don't care for radical feminists, "PC" speech, or animal-rights loonies, and I am sick and tired of the homophobic, racist, creationist radicals who think this country belongs exclusively to them. The way I see it, many of these fanatics are only a speech and an airplane ticket away from the creeps who perpetrated 9/11. Anyone remember Tim McVeigh, Eric Rudolph, and David Koresh? How about that guy who keeps disrupting military funerals?
I recommend that wise people read "The True Believer" by Eric Hoffer. Hoffer explained why religious fundamentalists, communists, and fascists are really the same kind of person. It's all about psychological insecurity!

Yes I do dream of a godless America. Why? Because I'm sick of religous people telling that I'm a horrible person, and I'm a drug dealer, and a High School drop-out and am going to hell just because I simply do not believe in the Christian ways. I do not do anything wrong. I am going to graduate from High School in May, I'm on the honor roll, My brother and I have a bet going to see if I will ever take a sip of beer or alcohol by the time I'm 35 (I'm going to win too!) so I just wish that every religious person would stop judging me and saying I'm so horrible just because I do not go to their church. And also because it would help us so much. Religion is used to control people and to make them think whatever the church wants people to think. America with no religion would make it the PARENTS responsibility to teach their KIDS values and morals, which is how it should be in the first place. Too many parents let churches and preachers teach their kids right from wrong instead talking to their kids. Religion to me = brainwashing and controlling. Religion to me is a bad thing. It always has been a bad thing in my mind. People should focus on being nice, tolerant, and kind to all people instead of just being nice, tolerant and kind to people that go to their church. I do not have a problem with people believing in "god" as long they keep it out of school, and government. And as long they don't enforce any of it on me. I don't want to hear about how I'm going to hell. I'm sick of religious people.

I don't dream of a Godless America. What I do dream of is a removal of church and state. But not all this PC bull that's going around, I mean that the church does one thing, the state takes care of the reciprocal. (Please not I did not say the separation of God and State, I have no problem with God in public schools, I'm not afraid like some people)

Sort of.
I agree with you and Im Pagan, then agian i have my own reasons for siding with atheists, because I want christianity and Islam to leave us alone once and for all, Im all for a communist country how about yourself? The American Government is corrupted and it doesnt work right, also the christians are leaning dangerously close to a theocracy, that really bothers me.
Communism has a middle class, go back to the farm God hates liberals, and educate yourself about communism the thing you hate. I educated myself about YOUR religion, maybe you should take the time to educate yourself about communism.

Anti Christian is all the rage in the America left these days. Burning Christians at the stake can not really be much further behind!
Take England as an example of chic bigotry. Such panache.

Although I am Buddhist, I must say no. People have the right to worship "God" if they want to, however I think religion needs to stay out of school and government. There are good and bad people in every group, theist and atheist. While many Churches are greedy and intolerant, many give faith and hope to people and help those in need. To want Christians to give up their beliefs is as bad as those same beliefs being forced down our throats.

No, that would be a nightmare and God would judge it.
No benefits, just destruction.
Christians disagree with homosexuality, but the Bible does not teach "homophobia." Christians are about as anti-science as atheists are. That is a product of atheistic propaganda.
Only God can save you and you only have your limited life to serve and acknowledge him, time is short!
