As a health care provider I would encourage you to ask more questions of your provider. Alot of times when 'odds' are given, the patient thinks they are given rates of 'cure' That usually is not the case. Be sure of what the odds indicate. Also....are you interested in quanity of life .....or quality. What side effects are you going to endure from the treatment? You did not mention your age....or other health problems. This could weigh heavily into the anwser of this question. I don't think I have enough information to give a good answer to your question. But its a great question...I wish more of my patients would ask questions like this.

Our daughter fought b cell lymphoma for 4 long years - the first year and one half with wrong diagnosis. Last year she was given a 20% chance to live. The day after Christmas she had a stem cell transplant. She is now cancer free 100%. She had a lot of chemo and she had radiation. She didn't give up-came close a few times-but she fought it. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP!! And get another opinion.

Well I am not sure what you mean by your odds changed...because i dont know your exact case but...if you are given the radiation treatment it will make sure that most microscopic and lymph areas are treated and killed...5% is a lot when working with cancer...would you take a 5% chance to get it...no you wouldn't ....it really isn't that big of a deal to get radiation treatments...and i know it would make me 5% more sure it was gone then Yes i would

No, I would spend the rest of my life doing the things I enjoy most rather than spending it going through radiation treatments and on Doctors.
So the money stays in my pocket for my enjoyment for the remainder of my short possible 5% reassurance.

Depends on what the radiation treatment is intended to do.
Sometimes radiation is done for the purpose of pain relief.
I highly suggest radiation for comfort and to shrink a tumor which is pushing against a valuable organ or causing increadible pain.

I would not. I would try alternative methods as they would not destroy 6 weeks quality of life (and more). 5% chance indicates the doctors have little confidence in the radiation treatment.

I personally would choose a potent Ellagic Acid product and./or Graviola product.
