but seriously nations vote in elections

but often time companies and their boards hold votes...sometimes that even includes their stock holders

and democratic policies are often used amongs friends...voting between who wants to go to the movies and who wants to go to the park

if u keep your eyes out for it you will see yourself voting more than just once every forth november

I never vote for an election, I vote for a candidate or for or against an issue on a referendum.

It depends on where you live. Amazing as is sounds different states vote on different items...like in Ohio we voted on raising property taxes for the school districts...in PA the school board can just raise the "school tax" (which is a completely separate tax on your property usually double or more than your local and county property taxes) when ever they want....

Where to go to dinner, what movie to watch, who has to buy the next round... we vote all the time. Its very interesting how integrated voting is in our culture.

Road construction bonds, school bonds, water bonds.
On television we vote for American Idol, Dancing with the Stars & Grease Stars. (I only voted for Emmit)
At church, my congregation votes in favor of our leadership & teachers.
