for each job i need to input customer's name, # of parts ordered, PO #, assigned to, part #..etc. Thanks. and maybe costs under $1000

I don't have the link handy but check out E2 shop systems. They have software that allows you to track jobs from the quote process through production. It keeps track of your cost and helps total up billing.

I think its going to be more than $1,000. Sorry but good software worth using is going to cost more than $1,000.

haha I just asked this soame question, for a machine shop as well.
I got back somthing called ACT!
luckly I knew somone that had it, I instaled it and, its cool
I can keep track of every custtomer. add notes, price, how paid.
Even make it work with hand held.
