I'm 34, very ineperienced, but not against dating women my age or even older, but the only women who I can get to talk to me (in person or on the web) are usually in their early 20's. The older women I think look at me as younger than I am do to my inexperience, even though I am mature in other areas. I'm not an imature person, just inexperienced with women. A lot of people, including my therapist, think me dating these young women is a bad move. I've read of guys in their late 40's marrying women in their early twenties so I don't see the problem, but everyone around me is giving me this impression that I'm stuck with women my age or older. What do you think?

I am your age, as are most of my friends...and we're married. I think girls in their twenties are more open to you, because they're just having fun. People our age are relationship ready. As long as you are finding people in their 20's whom you feel are your equals, you're fine. It's when they aren't in the same place that trouble comes.

After you reach a certain age, like around 20 or 30 years old for both men and women there is not that big of an age gap. If you prefer women 10-12 years younger and the women you attract like men your age, this is fine. Not a thing wrong with this. There are women who date younger men too. It's all up to the individual. Don't pay any attention to these people who try to tell you how to live your life. If they pay your rent and buy your clothes and food, they might have a say so. But, I'm sure you are capable of taking care of yourself. Just as you are capable of being your own person.

Well, i'm a hopeless romantic, and i believe that age has no influence on your feelings and everyone has a soulmate. While it seems "socially unacceptable" by most people to go around fraternizing with women marginally younger than you,(seen as being a player or a pimp) you should do what makes you happy

Do not let age as a bother to your state of mind. If the date is a fun person, that will be a good start.

It's only about 10 years between y'all, so don't worry. Once it gets to the 15-20 years between y'all, steer clear.

It can work but, there is a reason that these other people are saying what there are. Look at those reasons and try to figure that out.
Good Luck
