Oops, our 3 year old caught us having sex!! Will it affect him? Does he knows what it means? He scolded me for having my pants off..."mommy why are you now wearing your underwear/pants?" He didn't say nothing to his dad. Why do I get the sole finger pointed at me by our 3 year old. Felt soo embarassed.

Most likely he didn't know what you were doing.
And will more than likely forget about it in a few days and definetly won't remember this at all in a few years.

If he doesn't say anything else about it, I would just forget about it. He has no idea what was going on and he doesn't know if it was bad or good or play or not...

So if he leaves it alone...I would too.

If he doesn't then he is probably just curious and you can tell him anything to feed his curiosity and he will forget about it. Tell him you were wrestling, playing anything he doesn't know the different and he is to young to know the truth

3 Year Old Having Sex

2016-10-22 06:13:48 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

I remember things from when I was 2 1/2...he probably *will* remember! My 3 year old will remember the craziest things...and I think she'd be confused unless I offered a pretty legitimate explanation. We haven't been caught in the act, but she has walked in when we were just being playful - I told her daddy was tickling mommy - but how embarassed would I be if she said that in front of grandma or at school!?

Good luck?

No it won't affect him. My daughter used to crawl into bed on my side while my ex and I would be having sex, she would simply fall asleep. Some mornings she would come bursting into our room "Hi mommy are you naked today?" And I would either answer her yes or no depending on whether I was naked or not. If YOU don't make it a major issue then it won't BE a major issue. Next time he asks about the underwear just tell him that you didn't feel like wearing any.

He probably pointed the finger at you because you are of the oppostite sex and because you are the disciplinarian. I had a few friends who walked in on their parents at various ages, and besides embaressement they didn't have any real issues (I think almost everyone has some sort of issue believing that their parents have sex *shudder* haha!).

Might be embaressing, but that is the most of it..... and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a lock for the door for next time :P

Don't worry my son has walked in on us too, he didn't see anything just his dad on top of me moving around i just told him daddy and i are just wrestling around. At 3 he has no idea what sex is and is probably just confused about what was happen, and when he gets older and he still remembers he will realize that's what married people do. He'll de fine.

I don't think he will remember! He probably scolded you cuz you told him that maybe it wasn't right to have your pants down! LOL Next time, try to do it behind locked doors or tell him to knock before entering rooms or something. Good luck! LOL

hahhaha.. sorry don't mean to laugh but that's funny. My bf's little brother walked in on us! Anyway, don't worry about it. Although people do start having memories going back to very young ages, hopefully he'll forget. At least he's 3. My bf's little brother is 9!

I say don't worry to much at that age they don't really understand what going on.

and I say don't feel bad we've been caught too. But yes it is quite embarassing.

Most kids don't remember anything before age 4 at least.
