That's not a very convincing argument, just a statement of something that you believe - just like the Bible itself, statements and claims that are too incredible, too ridiculous to be believed as absolute truth, so many people just don't. There has been a serious outbreak of common sense and rational thinking going around lately.

As an historical document it's been proven to be very reliable (especially the New Testament). There are lots of contemporary accounts of Jesus, and the Roman leaders at the time, in Roman histories and ancient records of the Roman Empire.
Jesus Christ is an absolute historial truth, just as much as Caesar Agustus or any other person who lived in antiquity. I think you'd have a hard time finding someone who didn't agree that Caeser Agustus existed - why not Jesus?

People are all born wanting things their own way. Many would rather not have God telling them the truth about themselves and showing them another way to lead their lives.....even though they will have more joy walking with God.
They just don't WANT to believe such a thing.
