I like the 1-inch size, because you can get it in really close to your roots so that your whole head is smooth. My hair is fine though, and I've heard this size doesn't work well for girls with really thick hair because it takes much longer to do it all.

The Andis Chi Iron from Walmart is the best. Its used in beauty salons everywhere.

Ceramic flat iron but i also love the chi serum (it really helps moisten your hair while using the flat iron).

I have a 1" Turbo--I love it, but have not tried other models.

PS- I have very thick and curly hair, it works well---best flat iron I ever used.

conair ceramic flat iron(walmart) its about 30.00 and it worke really well, i have naturlly curly wavy thick hair and even when its humid it stays flat instead of poofing. its really strong(like steams when you use it) so use flat iron protector spray(sallys beauty salon)
