Because as far as I can tell, the fact that god allows satan to stick around is akin to a father putting a rabid, vicious dog into an enclosed yard with his young children and then going inside where he can't hear the screams or see the blood.
Or is it that he just doesn't care? If so, he's not all-loving.
Or is it that he cannot do anything about it. If so, he's not all-powerful.

Of course, the REAL reason is much, much simpler; he doesn't exist and neither does satan.
It's all just a scam to separate fools from their money. And it seems to work if you look at the size and the opulence of churches these days...

PLEASE CIRCLE THE NUMBER WHICH BEST DESCRIBES THIS QUESTION: 1) I don't believe in Heaven but I'm sure ignorant as Hell. 2) Satan's got me by the balls and God's just going to watch me squirm. 3) Help me, I'm lost and can't find my way back to Hell. 4) I want to be just like my father the Devil when I grow up. 5) All of the above.

Ohh its a test! If you survive these tests then the million dollars are yours. But after the Church takes its 11% and then there are the expected donations to the poor, and the needy.

How many Church scams have been uncovered? Tammy Baker and her Husband took all the Christians for a ride. Billy Graham Crusades. I laigh when I see thse church dignitaries pontificating in Robes of rich silk with gold embroidery calling for the flock to dig deep to help the needy! What hypocrisy!

Their Prohet whom they call the Son of God was a poor man that required no riches or fineries and in fact condemned those who displayed them. Yet the Christians flaunt thess riches in fine robes Churches with copper roofs and golkd inlay

Satan is used as a tool to scare people into giving money to thse charlatans to continue in their chosen lifestyle. Just as God is used to pretend that if you do support the cause then there will be some sort or reward in a mythical place called heaven.

Now if it came to a choice of being burned or living in luxury on a cloud which one are you going to chose?

There is No God and No Satan wake up to reality

Why ask when you already have an answer? An if you don't believe then why are you on this forum?

anyhow God allows Satan to exist because he serves a function, just like a hammer anvil and fire. God is like a black smith, and his people are the iron. It isn't pleasant for the iron to be forged into something useful, but it does increase its value. Also he gave us free will, what is the point of free will if there is only one option? this gives people the opportunity to choose God.

Dont forget mankind has always accepted and obeyed Satan. To this day, there are even people who worship him!

It is good you see him for what he is and now you should start seeing God for who he is, LORD of all! He has complete power over Satan and has given him a time to reign because that is part of the whole freewill aspect of our existence. God will allow evil people and Satan have their fun and in the end they get destroyed.

Many have been perplexed because sin and its author, Satan, still exist. Some even charge God with the responsibility for it since He permitted sin. God is good, merciful, and all-powerful but He is also love. Each created being was endowed with freedom of choice. God wants people to serve Him because they choose to do so and not because they cannot do otherwise.

1. Why didn't God kill the devil when he first sinned and prevented sin from entering this world? "God is love." 1John 4:8. (Note: The government of God is based on love. If God had destroyed Satan immediately heavenly beings would have served Him through fear. Fee moral agents were given time to judge the nature of Satan's rebellion. Read Hebrews 2:14 and 1John 3:8.) (Note: Christ's life and death exposed Satan's true nature and the results of sin. Thus in the proper time God will be able to destroy Satan and sin with the consent of the universe.)

2. Why doesn't God kill the devil now? "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." Romans 16:20. (Note: Paul is here referring to the second coming of Christ. Since Christ has not yet returned this is the reason God doesn't kill Satan now. God is permitting Satan to run his course. Furthermore, the destruction of the devil will not take place until everyone has had the opportunity to choose to accept Christ and live forever.)

3. Can we be successful in the battle against the devil, if so, how? "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:10,11 (Note: Read Ephesians:12-18 where the apostle talks of the necessity of putting on the entire armor of God. It is made up of seven parts and is the assurance of victory. It consists of truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, the Bible, and prayer.)

4. Is it necneccessary God to kill the devil in order for people to live right? "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth Philippians 4:13. Read James 4:7. (Note: You can live right even though the devil is constantly around to tempt. But how? You can be victorious by surrendering your will to Christ "which giveth us the victory." 1Corinthians 15:57. Take courage, Christ was tempted in all points, yet He never sinned. There is victory over the devil by following the instruction found in Isaiah. "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." Isaiah 45:22.

Conclusion God's original purpose will one day be fulfilled. There will be a sinless world. God's hand has been placed upon the nations as the Bible says, "This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?" Isaiah 14:26,27. As the conflict between Christ and Satan continues God's purpose and plan for man is being developed. Read John 3:16,17. Put your will on God's side for victory over sin "because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." 1John 4:4.

If God had totally locked up satan this question would not be asked because one would not have the freedom to ask. One would be a robot follower of God and that is not what He wants.

Guess what, he does so in order to give us a chance to come to repentance. If he were to end it all now then no one would have much of a chance to know why things are the way they are. Besides you cannot back up any of your claims because you assume (like everyone else pretty much) that all Christianity is the same. Sad to say it's not.

To fulfill the negative part of God's plan which is ultimately positive.

Satan has the right, i.e. power, to accuse us.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
