You can get your credit report from all three major credit reporting companies. Once you get them you can file a dispute on anything that looks incorrect. The reports can be ordered thru an automated system via telephone or online. Disputes can also be done online.

By law, agencies that claim to fix your credit report can only do the same thing you can do. Which is to dispute/report an error.
