no they will not. they must be happy with what they have and to follow GOD. when they die, they will be taken by the reaper, and they will stay there with him till GOD comes back, and GOD will judge the person, and if he's good the he's gonna have a happy life in Heaven with GOD. but by being depressed, then i don't think so.

Well, the next life is in your spiritual body. There will be no clinical depression. No worry about how you will pay your bills; no jealousy over the girl next door, etc etc.
So, yes, of course it will be better - better than you could ever imagine while still in this flesh.

titus 1:2..........upon the basis of a hope of the everlasting life which God, who cannot lie, promised before times long lasting

.
john 6:39-40..........I should resurrect it at the last day.... ...., that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.”

this life is free of sadness and depression

revelation 21:4..........4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

The nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed. The person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation. We do not have to take birth again, and suffer repeated old age disease and death, we can be free from this material body in this life and attain our spiritual body, full of bliss.

I don't think that anything is guaranteed......but let's hope so........there are many paths that one can follow in this life, and although it is true, some do not seem to have a choice, on some level, many feel, that there is still some choice........

We are organisms of life with brains that project a false soul in our heads. When you die, the electrons in your brain shut down. You do not go to hell or heaven

As a buddhist i believe that we get reincarnated,
be good = good next life
be bad = worse next life

Depressed people aren't bad people, they are like the rest of us
some are bad, some are good. its like asking "what food do gay people eat" its personal life really.

You have to believe in one having another life to answer this question. As for me, I'm still skeptical.
