Hello all. Would like to find hiking club in Temecula/Murrieta area. Would appreciate advice. If anyone can reccomend any other good clubs - fun, friendly to a newcomer i would be greateful.

The group Temucula Walkers and Runners sounds like just what you are after. Their sign up form and information can be found at http://walkers.meetup.com/cities/us/ca/temecula/?gj=sj40. It looks like they have 73 members. I love the low rolling hills in the Temecula area, so walks through the countryside would be a real kick.
You might also look for volksmarches being held int he area - although I don't know of any personally.
I am part of a yahoo group called walkoregon, but unfortunately I couldn't find a similar one in your area. I suspect the meetup.com groups are service this purpose in your area.
