When I came to know our Lord Jesus Christ, i've decided to stop counting my blessings, simply because i could not count them anymore for they are plenty, and it just keeep on coming!!
Just one example is everybreath that we take is a blessing.
the time spent in counting blessings could very well be used instead to thank Him for all the things that He has done and the things that He is doing and about to do in our lives! Praise God!!

Easy question: my sobriety. I have been sober now for twenty years. Second in line is that I still have my sanity. Third in line is that I can walk forward and not feel dizzy. Fourth in line is that my teeth do not hurt so badly they are an issue. Fifth in line is that my personal energy is terrifically strong. Sixth in line is I still can ride and enjoy my twelve-speed bicycle at 63 years old. Seventh in line is that I am still with my life partner of 47 years. Eighth in line is that he is still in top health at 85. Ninth in line is my two wonderful housecats love me to pieces. Tenth in line is that I can genuinely help people here on Yahoo! Answers. And there is an eleventh - my eyes can see like a high power microscope as well as, with glasses, to great distances with no problems at all. I can also hear in stereo (a twelfth).

Another day - all the cool stuff I get to witness on a daily basis.

I love education and I am always most grateful for a day that I get to see something new or beautiful that I haven't seen before.

I guess if I counted my blessings the first on my list would be life.... without being alive nothing else would be possible.
