Tomorrow I will be purchasing a copy of windows vista. Do I have to look for the words 64 bit on the packaging or do I just by the OS and it automatically chooses it for me. Do not say anything about buy a mac instead.

Check the box and ask. There is a separate version for 32-bit.

u dont want 64bit only ... its not widely supported by software and drivers yet ...im not sure about vista but if there is a 64bit and a 32 bit ... get the 32bit trust me ...
