It's hard for both to ask that question - we all are afraid of rejection....

This varies from person to person, usually it is hard... but for some who manage to get past their selfconciousness and are willing to accept a rejection or a no for an answer it is quite easy.

I use to be very shy, now I'm totally not.

have you ever asked someone out?? of course it's not easy. it takes a lot to build up the courage, even if you know they like you! it's hard to simply get the words out, it's like trying to tell someone you're deepest darkest secret, you're not sure if you want it out but you would feel better if you did. then you have fear of rejection. rejection is the WORST

Of course it is really hard for a boy and a girl because they are afraid of rejection being teased and all sorts of stuff

NO!!!!! it is not easy at all. absolutely not! everyone is afraid of rejection, and there is always the posibility of it happening, but, hey, ya never know until u try!
