You mean in genesis when god says 'us'?
I was puzzled by that and had to reread it.
Who on earth (or in heaven) could he possibly have been talking about?
Since I'm an atheist and realise the whole thing is a fairytale I can't honestly say I give a toss.

I don't think the Bible teaches anything in essence it is a collection of Fables that quite often refers to things in the third person. So many of these statements are interpretations of what might have been said , the translations are often inaccurate. Like the numbers fleeing from Egypt. We are led to believe numbered 2500 wandering the desert to the land of Canaan. The land was not and still is not able to support that number of people. Secondly the word that they thought was referring to a numeral was actually later found to also mean tribe or clan and did not refer to an amount in numerals at all.
I copied this text from a contributor to illustrate something else about this God. He is an Egotist!
Isaiah 44:8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."
Why would a Deity all powerful and Omnipotent use words that refer to him as God? If he was a God why does he have to keep reinforcing the image? No I think these references are a man made reference to Bolster these fables and make them sound like they came from a God.
If words Like" I am your creator were used"I might begin to accept some of the rhetoric But to blow himself into I am your God is the words of a pathetic egotist!
How many Pharaohs said those same words to their flock. Even Caesar proclaimed himself a God as did many Greeks who were in power. The concept of a God is a man made role not that of any creator or true Deity

First of all, the Bible does not teach that there is more than one god. Although it may seem confusing, there is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but they are all one Almighty God. This is the only thing the Bible teaches. Some people are confused because the Bible mentions other gods, but it also mentions that they are fake and shouldn't be worshiped.

In the Old Testaments from Exodus to the last Prophet, the God of Israel told His people that there shall be no other God but Him. So how did you conclude that that the Bible says otherwise? God only meant that there shall be no other Gods before Him, besides Him nor after Him because in the early days of man, they believed in many Gods including what appears in the sky and in other forms of nature. What Bible are you reading?

That is a pretty complex theological question that cannot be answered here fully! Suffice to say there are 2 main ways at looking at it....
1st. Elohim-one supreme god with many aspects
2nd. Yahweh- all the other Gods are false and there is only one God - the Father
This gets more complex when you ask about the nature of Logos (the Word). If you REALY want to know you wil need to do a LOT of heavy research!!!!

What other God does Christianity teach?
There is only 1 God in Christianity. The God is composed of a soul, spirit, and body. God the father, The holy spirit, and Jesus the body. We are made in the image of God, body, soul, and spirit, but yet we are one being.

When God says, "...have no other gods before me..." He's not saying there are other gods. He's saying, "Don't be fooled by all the fake gods out there." In other words, they aren't real. Some people thought (think) there were (are) gods running around all over the place and God was (is) trying to reign those folks in; let 'em know that He's the only one.

The Bible teaches in fact there is 1 God. He is 3 in person, 1 in essence.

First, you have to remember that god is just a title, not a name. As for there being just one God, that is correct in that there is just one God Almighty, the creator of all things, but there are gods, in that they possess godlike powers, but they receive that power from a higher power. An example is the reference to The Word as being a mighty god in the old testament. As a mighty god, he received his power and very existence from his Father, God Almighty. It is like referring to both a father and son as men. While the son may be a man, he is not equal to his father, though both were men.

the only and in user-friendly words authentic God is the guy who created heaven and earth - and all issues that exist. guy formed different gods/idols made up of clay, silver, gold, and so on. some even worship particular animals, the celebrities or the moon. Aaron made a golden calf for the human beings to worship at the same time as they became less than pressure contained in the desert. This become to develop into their god via the undeniable fact that they had lost their faith contained in the guy who had presented them from bondage. human beings worship the god of money, celebrities, and so on. - and too often they worship the god of "different human beings's opinion" yet our Almighty God is conscious this and is conscious the weaknesses human beings (His creation) and he's prepared to forgive us our transgressions. certain, the Bible says there are different gods (man made gods) yet there continues to be in user-friendly words man or woman who's God of all gods and King of all kings!

You give me a verse that says there is more than ONE God. We know who are believers that there is only ONE God- maker of Heaven and Earth and He is the God of the Bible. Nowhere in scripture does it teach there is more than one God- and if you are saying Jesus is a separate God than God, you are wrong- see John 1:1 and Read John chapter 10.
Isaiah 44:8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one."
Isaiah 45:6
so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.
-There is much more scripture where that came from-
