He likes you, but since u said u dont know, he's acting like he didnt have any feelings so he doesnt look bad, because he's a lil embarrassed.

honestly, i think that you should give him a shot and if things do not work out between the both of you then you guys can just be really good friends or aquintences. i mean you never know.
