It sounds like you want to make sure that Spencer knows you are over your ex, so that he knows he can at least try to flirt with you, if he wants to. Well, I guess the first way to ensure that he knows is to tell him! You don't have to tell him you like him, but you can just start to speak to him casually, bringing up the fact that everyone seems to think that you still like your last guy, and you aren't sure where they are getting that from, since there are no more feelings there. This will give him an opening to flirt, if that's what he wants to do! Just be careful not to speak bad about your old boyfriend, because that may turn him off, thinking you may speak about him that way one day.

Well just tell that guy you like him, how else would you know rite? And as for that kid spencer, well you don't have to prove anything to anyone. As long as you know you don't then thats all it matters...

Just talk to him and see if he has the same feelings - don't worry about what everyone else thinks - worry about yourself now - take things slow and ask him to a movie or something neutral - you go girl

if u just broke up with someone wait a while then ask the guy you like out. the worst thing he can say is no but then people will know you don't like the other guy.

You need to calm down, first. In truth, whatever happens in your life, happens for the best and for a reason. If it is meant to be, you will find the right guy.
In your case, my recommendation would be, to be patient and give time to both (or maybe, one!!!) guys, to prove themselves worthy, for you.
