Sounds like you are very much miss him and on a 'rebound' from not seeing him anymore.
You already know you need to get on with life and forget him, thats the first step taken! You know he only wanted to use you, so good on you for not letting him! You know you need to forget about him. Now ask, why do you still bring him back up in your conversations with your bf? What has he done to affect you so? You know you'll never see him again. BUT.............You don't really need to forget about him........keep him in your thoughts, as a fantasy or a special friend you miss. But of course don't tell your bf! You eventually just not think about him as much, you won't forget him, just you won't think about as much.

the only way is that when that guy pops into your head, start to think of your bf instead.
Eventually you will stop thinking of him. He was an unknown - so you can fantasise and make him be anyone you want. But your bf is with you in the flesh. So appreciate him and enjoy what you have.

Human beings in general tend to remember only the best parts of people who are no longer in our lives.
There were good reasons why you didn't sleep with that guy, now all you have to do is constantly remind yourself of those reasons. Just keep thinking about all the bad things that he did and all the reasons why your current bf is better than that guy.

Let's see, the best way to get that guy out of your head is through your ear right? LOL No wait, your mouth is a lot larger than your ear so the next time you think about him, shove your face into a pillow and scream at him and cuss him out. It may not get him out but it might make you feel better about it.

look at the possitive, you are in a happy relationship and not with the guy thats in your head, thats gotta mean something. concentrate on whats making you happy and if you feel you need to talk to someone and cant your bf go to ur girls, they'll soon fix you out.

You need a break from men - the current and the past. Work on yourself for awhile and make a few lists. What do I want in a spouse? What do I want for myself - goals?

First, Get rid of anything that you might have around that can bring any memories of him. Next, whenever he comes to your
mind just be strong and woman enough to tell your brain, hey
I have someone right now and fight him off in your mind. Turn
your thoughts elsewhere. I know that you can do it.
