Does purchasing movie tickets with your credit card affect your credit score?

sounds silly - but I heard this at work today & was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this

Yes it will. But only if you don't pay the bill when it comes in.

What affects your credit score is how well you pay your card each month, not what you charge on it. I've never heard anything about movie tickets and credit ratings.

Any credit card purchase that is paid in full during the grace period enhances the scores on credit bureaus.
