can u still play the clarinet w/ newly put on braces?

I had my braces put on 2 days ago and my teeth still hurts and I'm not suppose to use my front 2 teeth but dat's excatly wat i need to do the play the instument

plz tell me i'm not suppose to play it I don't wanna play the clarinet but my teacher is forcing us

When I was 12 I began to play the clarinet and everytime I got them tightened my dentist would say that I needed to take a break until the 'tightness' goes away. Ask the dentist

If you don't want to play the clarinet, don't. Go to the principal if you must. Unfortunately, I can't tell you you can't play with braces. I did and still got mine off 4 months early.
