I don't believe there is a god but a lot of ppl do. The American Government knows this so it fly's the God banner because it's the easiest thing to get ppl to rally behind. Also it's used for "Ready made enemies" you don't believe in my God, thus making you my God's enemy, which makes you my enemy so I have no problem killing you. Control is why America holds onto a God concept. I mean come on do you think George Bush talks to God? And with all the really seriously wrong things going on how could anyone one think God is with America?

Your Grammar is Worse than My SPELLING !

Anyway, I do Believe that God has Favored America, and you are correct that He's Favored other Nations who have later Fallen. If we don't turn thing's around, we'll experience the same fate. We are a Nation of Backsliders, and Intellectually Arrogant Unbelievers, and have sunk deeper, and deeper into deviance. I can't see how we can avoid God's Judgment.

Anyone who thinks God favors the U.S. as a nation is wrong. God raises up/takes down whatever countries or nations He wishes, whether that country serves Him or not; God grants some countries to be strong if it fits into His divine will and plan. The U.S. is not a Christian nation, even though there are many Christians living here.

All things work together for good for those who love and trust in Him.

You are absolutley right! Jehovah favors no country over another. Muslims say HE is on their side & we say he is on our side. Kind of a pointless debate. The only nation God favors & protects are his true people here on earth who are "from all sorts of nations, tribes, peoples, & tongues"

God's plan involves many countries.

Why did God let Nazi's become so powerful...to show that they can be crushed by Him with an incompetant military like the United States.

The United States has never won a war...but yet they brought a world super power with seemingly unwaivering tolarance and limitless resources to it's demise.

he doesn't favor ONLY the US but here's something for us to think about...we all know the pledge of allegence of America...one nation under God..

Psalms 33:12
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people he chose for his inheritance.

I don't know about only the US but the US certainly is his favorite. How else could we have won our independence from the most powerful country at the time (England which I believe is His second favorite country).

America thinks that God is exclusively theirs - despite worshiping from a bible written in England in 1611, translated from Greek and Hebrew, that tells a story about a Jewish 'Arab' living in the middle-east.

The United States was setup as a Christian country, therefor God probably favors the US over all nations except Israel, of course. Anyway look how much the US has prevailed in all the wars its been through.

The Bible's God, ruler of the universe, runs counter to the American Constitution. He does not support democracy (He rules;Psalms 2,89,110: the King is Yawweh's son), freedom of religion (no other gods allowed) or freedom of speech (no blasphemy). The Bible's god, many believe, will throw the majority into a lake of fire.
