I mean people are asking questions that would take alot less time to anwser if you searched it on Yahoo or Google. Whats the point?

I think people like to be acknowledged by having people respond to their questions. Also an even better source of answers is Wikipedia. More people should know about it. It is a very impressive source of info.

The point is that the answers provided by a google or yahoo search can be difficult for some people to understand, so using Q and A often provides many examples of the same answer thereby ensuring the understanding of the asker.
