she bleeds and it is thin as water, which makes it harder to get the bleeding stopped when she cuts herself or something like that. I need a quick fix if there is one.

it could possibly be von willebrand's disease which is very similar to hemophilia. there isn't a cure, but vitamin k will thicken blood in humans. ask your vet how safe it is for your dog.

You need to see your vet and find out why this is happening. It could be a clotting disorder or she could be anemic, neither is normal and both should be addressed immediately. Some dogs can get immune related diseases (IMHA, IMTP) in which the dogs own blood cells attack each other.

Note: Vitamin K will not "thicken" the blood, it is involved in the clotting of blood, or the platelets.

Something like this needs to be addressed by a professional. There is not going to be a quick fix at home for this type of medical issue

she could be a hemophiliac. Dont give her any animal aspirin that will make it worse, i would definatley call a vet or the Human Society if you can't afford a huge vet bill. Good Luck! my sister has one named molly she is black and tan and has more personality than anyone i know!

This is something you need to discuss with your veterinarian. It could simply be a side effect or her getting older, but only a vet can tell you for sure.
