Like, whenever I put my hair up in a pony tail, my short hairs that don't fit into the ponytail stick out, I think it looks ugly, any advice? And if I should, what kind of gel or hairspray should I use?

That happens to me frequently. I just use any generic hairspray, it keeps the wispies up, until they grow out.

Hmm, hair wispy's, you can always use hairspray to slick them into place, I like Suave Flexible Hold. Gel would make it too stiff. A surefire way to keep those hairs up is to use bobby pins. You can get ones that match your hair color and no one would be the wiser. With hairspray, they can fall down, but with the pins, they are sure to stay. Just bunch them up and pin them under the tail. That should work!
