You know when the Bible contradicts itself, like thou shall not kill, but then it goes on to talk about battles where people are killing eachother, in the name of God.
And what about when it says that if you sin, you will go to hell. But then it says that God will save everyone? And what about those who aren't churchgoers? What will happen to them? I know some people, who are the best people in the world, but don't go to church? What will happen to them? I don't think that it would be fair to punish them when they did nothing wrong.
Also (changing subjects) how can I know that the Bible is true? How do I know that man didn't just do it his way to serve his purpose? I don't know what do think and would like some advice here. I just hope that if you don't agree with the Bible, you're in big trouble.

1st the bibble doesnt contradict it self ,be aware of the new and the old testament,if u r christian then u should act according to the new tastement ,about the old one ,we just read it and know it well to know the difference between them ,allready in the old there were wars in the name of God ,but in the new , God never ordered us to make a war because of his name.

2nd. the bibble says if u sin and didnt confess that u sinned ,God will forgive u only if u truely confessed and will try hard not to sin again. the bibble never said that everyone will be saved
only people who believe in Jesus is the son of God ,those will be saved . about the non church goers ,if they dont believ in Jesus ,they will not be saved because they denied him.

3rd. to believe that the bibble is true u must have faith ,just believ that God is here ,and you will feel him in your life ,just ask him and have faith.
finally go and ask a pastor about all the questions in your mind ,he will correct any wrong idea you have about the bibble

dont worry ,I once had all the questions u have ,it is just a stage in your faith

good luck
and God will help you

1.) Murder is unjustified, killing is justified...there is a difference.
2.) All sinners who aren't forgiven will go to hell. Forgiveness of sin comes only through the Son, Jesus Christ.
3.)You do not have to go to a church to be "saved." The church doesn't save a person; it is God that saves.
4.) The Bible is the inerrant word of God. It is truth.
5.) Some would and have perverted the word of God to suit their own agenda. This is the result of the "traditions of men."
6.) Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the key, the door to everlasting life. Believe in him, read His word, and pray for His guidance, then you will have the peace and understanding that you are looking for.

First of all, the Bible NEVER says if you sin, you will go to hell so I don't believe you are actually reading it--which means you have no right to criticize anything about it. God is perfectly just and fair and loving and if you ever do decide to read the Bible, you might actually learn something.

This is what happens when you get a book written by a several unidentified religious zealots who weren't even present at the events they are describing. They can't agree. I would be hard pressed to come up with a way to make a source worse than the Bible.

There have been to many politicians playing with the bible. See www.stephen-knapp.com/articles_to_read. this is an unbiased, factual site, giving the roots of christianity, buddhism, and islam. Also you might like to read "the Impersonal Life" by joseph Brenner. Jesus mostly taught Vedanta philosophy, he was a siddha yoga Guru.

The answer is simple really. God knows everyone's heart. He has the final decision on who lives and who dies.
