Of course, God called them his brethren
Mat.25:38-40
"And when did we see you wandering, and take you in? or without clothing, and give it to you?
And when did we see you ill, or in prison, and come to you?
And the King will make answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Because you did it to the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
as they carry their burdens without indignation..

No one has more of a chance to go to heaven. Everyone has the same amount of chance. All you have to do to go to heaven is believe there is a God and that he sent his son (See John 3:16)
Yes poor people go to heaven.

Rich or poor, we are all the same.
Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

Christ said, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God"...in this i believe He was saying that attachment to worldly possessions and worldly things hold many back spiritually...He also said that where you lay up your treasures is where you will enjoy them...but, to answer your question simply, OF COURSE poor people can go to heaven

Those who are chosen and annointed go to heaven to rule as kings and priests with the Christ. No one takes any money with them, so in a way you could say that only poor people go. Jesus talked about storing up treasures in heaven when referring to the way people used all their assets (time, money, valuable things) here on earth. So, if you look at it that way, I suspect that anyone who is chosen and annointed to go to heaven will be rich there.

Poor people have a better chance to go heaven. The more possessions one has the more one becomes attached to them and therefore is more difficult to give them up.

According to the Bible, it is far easier for a poor man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven than for a rich man.
As it states in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew, 'It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needed, than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God'

Well I feel that people dont actually go to heaven when they die.In the bible it states that death is like a deep sleep, and only the people who are God obeying will get to come back, and live in the paradise that he has promised to us.

Not all poor people. Those who are "poor in spirit", meaning those who realize that they are spiritually dead and beg mercy from God with true penitance, Those who cry out to God, ask for salvation, and commit themselves to the Lord in faith will be saved and will go to heaven either when they die, or when the rapture occurs (whichever comes first).

Of course they do, and probably a lot faster than rich people do. There's an old saying: "You can't take it with you," and that applies to money and material goods. It doesn't matter what you have in this lifetime that will open the gates of eternity, but how you conduct yourself in all aspects of life.
