Get a shampoo specifically for oily hair. Nexxus has a really good one. Also, only use conditioner on your ends, never the top of your head. One last tip is to sprinkle a little baby powder into your hair at the crown, massage it in, and the oil should be absorbed some.

i have this problem too. It's because i have thin and straight hair around the top of my head where the grease develops. there's really nothing you can do about it. I tried conditioners and such but I know what you mean. It's very aggravating.

my suggestion.. is add volume.. get a spiral perm or when you're at a friends house for the night.. crimp your hair alot so it doesn't get as greasy.

when it does.. if you have light hair.. add a bit of baby powder to it and rub it in some.. it gives a fair illusion of non greasy hair.

Keep in mind that it has nothing to do with hygen. its just the way it is. try not to use conditioner on your scalp and focus on the ends assuming you have longer hair.

good luck :)

It could be the shampoo your using if so what I recommend, and yes I've done this, is to buy a few of those travel size shampoos and try them all and see which one works best for you. I was having the same problem. I use Herbal Essence, Hello Hydration and Pantene Pro V. I wash my hair with both shampoos once every day.

I have this problem too!
I run my fingers through my hair a lot so it always gets oily.

This is the best tip EVER:
Use baby powder.

First, squeeze a little bit into your hands, then rub your palms together and run your hands through your hair. It soaks up the oil really fast.

And geeze people, just because her hair gets oily faster than yours doesn't mean she doesn't wash it. Don't be rude.

i heard baby powder works well. put some in your hands and run it through your hair. it may sound weird, but it's very true =]
