We bought a splitter thing and cord to add cable from the box in the living room to our room, but now the living room tv doesnt show a great picture. What do i do?

Disconnect the bedroom TV and see if the living room picture improves. If it doesn't then you have problems with the cables or the splitter. If it does then you have a weak signal problem. You will need to add an amplifier before the splitter.

check splitter, it may not be correct one.
