I am afraid that I cannot fix the greed of others.
I can only be loving and kind and generous and hope that it spreads to others.
We don't fix this world by charging in head first and demanding that it change to what we want it to be, we fix this world one heart at a time as God gives us the words to say to others.
Papa Bear has not studied the founding fathers.
Go to Washington D.C., read a few monuments and then tell me that.
Many of our founding fathers were Christians, but in their infinite wisdom they developed a secular government.
The had lived in Europe under a theocracy, and did not want that here.
What is a theocracy?
It is a state adopted religion, forbidding the practice of any other religion.
We don't have that and don't want that, but the state is getting on dangerous grounds when it tries to silence religion.
Read the final version of the Treaty of Tripoli.

I think people have thier own perceptions on what christianity is, isnt and should be, from my personal viewpoint, i think its a dangerous religion that clouds the minds of those that adhere to it. I dont give a crap what the white man were or were not, the Native Americans were Pagan, so therefore this was a Pagan nation before the white man invaded it and polluted our children and thier children with lies.

I'm reading a lot of arguments that America was not "created on Christianity". Although it was founded on the idea of "religious freedom" the reality is that many of the founders were infuenced by Christian ideals. The reason that so much tradition stand regarding Christianity (i.e."In God We Trust" on money) is because the establishment of the country revolved heavily around these ideals.
For instance:
Did you know that fifty-two of the fifty-five founders of the constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies?
James Madison, the father of our Constitution said..."we have stacked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."
So before people continue to say that Christianity was not the basis of this country, they should do some research regarding the matter. It may not have been blatantly stated, but it was the central and most influential religion for most of the history of this nation. That being said, I'm agnostic.
In addition, greed works in great ways for our country. The country's economy rest highly on Americans' desire to have and spend money.

Yes America was create by Christian founders, but it has always been a secular nation. After World War 2 America found itself the only industrial power not touched by the distruction of the previous war. Because of this, we found ourselfs suppliers to the world for most all industrial needs. This was as a result of having won World War 2 without having been bombed ourselves.

There have been several super power nations over the milleniums, it seems that the downfall is nearly the same for all --- the decadence of their society becomes so perverse, society crumbles from within and is easily taken over by another.
As far as the rest of your question, I don't really have an answer --- as long as people promote absolute rights for everybody with no accountability, things will continue to go downhill.

if this country was "not" founed on christainity then why is it that every beginin law revolves aroud God and the Bible? also look in the bible it is mans way to turn from God after tasteing a little succes and being full of pride, God says in the book of Psalms that if we as men are to turn from our wicked ways and fall on our knees he shall forgive us and surely heel our lands.
