sounds like low blood sugar. It is caused when the pancreas makes to much insulin. It is the opposite of diabetes and it is just as dangerous. Go see a doctor to get checked over. Until then try to eat your 3 main meals like normal but add 3 large snacks with a protein and a carb like crackers and cheese with a slice of ham. I know you would think that candy or a soda would fix it and in an emergancy they will but they also cause the body to make more insulin and will make the lightheadedness return sooner.

You are probably having a blood sugar problem. Try to make sure you eat some small snacks throughout the day which include carbohydrates and protein. Have a doctor do a blood sugar screening to see if you are dropping very low after meals. Your body could be producing tooo much insulin to compensate for calories.

YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR....
this could be caused by a number of things, the first to spring to mind being
anaemia (low iron levels in the blood) - easily treated with iron tablets,
vitamin deficiency - you'll need to find out which one
diabetes - is there any history of this in your family?
malnutrition - are you eating a healthy balanced diet?
Get to your doctor as soon as you can, get it checked out, it might be nothing, but better safe than sorry...
and if it is something a little more serious, it's best to catch it early.

Its called hypoglycemia - which means low blood sugar.
I used to suffer from it when I was younger. I would suggest seeing a doctor and explaining the whole thing. Include what you do eat as part of the information you provide the doctor.
The reason I suggest seeing a doctor now is simple - in my case the low blood sugars, for whatever reason, eventually turned into diabetes. I now require insulin shots daily to stay alive.
Not meant to scare you, just a warning... see a doctor, or risk ending up taking shots for the rest of your life...
Peace,
-dh

I used to get really dizzy if i didn't eat. I would faint if i waited too long. Everything would go dark n i couldn't hear. I found out it was my sugar level gettin too low. U might wanna check on that w/ a doc. Try buying glucose at Walgreen's n see if that helps. Its just sugar tablets, take one when u feel like that again n see if it works.

It sounds like you have a problem with your blood sugar.
It may not be a bad idea to get this checked out, in case you are in the early stages of diabetes.

It sounds like you might be hypo-glycemic - get off to a doctor and have your blood checked. Go asap before you faint, collapse and injure your head or other body parts (a friend of mine who was h-g fainted and fractured her skull on some concrete steps).
