I believe that Apostle Paul and the others did not believe in a Pre-Trib Rapture. The concept of a pre-trib rapture was created by John Nelson Darby during the 1900th century. The concept of pre-trib is to get poeple all jazzed up about attending church. Unfortunately, millions of Christians will have to suffer through the Tribulation. And if we endure to the end and overcome we will be in the only ONE rapture at the end or in the middle. Regular evangelical Christians believe in a Rapture before the Tribulation, and an other one at the end. Read II Thess 2:1-5, In the King James Version the correct version, it says there must come a "....Falling Away..." and in the Strongs Concordence, King James, Falling Away in the original Greek Text is the word .. APOSTASIA - which is the word apostacy, which is the term for Christinas who leave the faith. It means that millions of Christins in the Time of the Tribulation will take the Mark of the Beast, which if you and I live long enough to see the trib, then i believe that something very similar to VeriChip will be the Mark.
The Government is becoming more intersted in the VeriChip program from Digital Angel Crop. I believe that it is very likely that in order to combat terrorism, the one of the United States Presidents is going to advocate to have the Verichip implanted in all those who consider themselves as patirots, and if you don't take the Chip, you are not a true American. But this will be a trick of Satan, that once millions of Christians have taken the Chip, then the AntiChrist will reveal himself and Wam! You are forced to either carve the damn chip out of your skin or just accept it! This will be the Great Falling Away in my opinion.
And bye the way, I saw a preacher by the name of John Hegee say the the King James Version in II Thess vers 3 , the part about the Falling Away was a MIS-PRINT !
So my point is that Paul was most likely talking about having to endure all the pursecution that we real Christians will suffer. Real Christians suffered being thrown to lions and burned on crosses, and murdered in awful ways. Why would we be any better?
Oh yeah, those that say we will get pre-raptured because the end times is God's warth, my answer to that is We will most likely not be hit by The seven seals and the punishments of God, but we will be tormented by the AntiChrist, .... it will be that we either take his stupid mark or starve to death. I think God will provide food, and protect us from his super punishments, but that the AntiChrist will be given the power to make war with the Saints and kill them.

--Perhaps this translation might make it somewhat more understandable, it does for me.
(Romans 5:2-5) “2Â through whom also we have gained our approach by faith into this undeserved kindness in which we now stand; and let us exult, based on hope of the glory of God. 3Â And not only that, but let us exult while in tribulations, since we know that tribulation produces endurance; 4Â endurance, in turn, an approved condition; the approved condition, in turn, hope, 5Â and the hope does not lead to disappointment; because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy spirit, which was given us.”
--I find in general, that true hope is strengthened by enduring in the Christian way of life ,with difficulties in trying to be like Christ being practiced(preaching & teaching, being honest, moral etc.)
--Also the fact that hope based on Christs' teachings & promises never leads to disappointment.--Thus we are renewed by the help of God's holy spirit .

This was written to those annointed Christians who were being persecuted for giving the witness about Christ Jesus and God's kingdom government at that time. It explains that by being faithful on a daily basis, they were fortifying their resolve to remain faithful even unto death--a necessary thing in order to be resurrected to take their place as kings and priests in God's heavenly government.

Through the trials of like we develop patience.
And patience develops experience.
And experience develops hope.
And hope keeps our faith strong.
I hope for the day that Jesus comes for his church.
