from past experiences I can pretty much gaurentee you that Vicodin and *anything* is a bad mix. Like, seriously...
"Hmmmmm... I think imma down some codine after totally scarfing on Vicodin."

my first reaction would be *smack* B&$#H CALL A DOCTOR!!! :) But i'm a nice guy, so I'll just strongly reccomend you call somebody who has had medical training. Not sure if you knew this, but "throwing up blood" is typically a sign that there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the homeostasis in ur body.

Yes, Vicodin and Tylenol 3is a bad mix. They both contain Tylenol, which is dangerous to take in large quantities.

As for your reaction, it sounds typical for a narcotic side effect. Did you take them on an empty stomach? Always read the medication information sheet you receive with medicines.

I think you will be perfectly fine, but if you're concerned, call your pharmacy and ask.

Hi there,
Do you have a fever? Chest cold, pnumonia, asthma, weak stomach?Kidney stones, Gall stones, Liver problems
Vicodin is for moderate to severe pain and hard on the renal system.so Tylonal 3 is for pain/fever, the combo of the 2 may be too much for your tummy to handle.
Why were you prescribed 2 pain meds.
You may be sensitive to Codine too. So much stuff in your stomach does not always work. As for the blood, do you have an ulcer? Maybe you need to go to the ER, maybe get someone to take you or call 911.

You mixed codeine (TY3) and Hydrocodone (Vicodin). Not a good call but it shouldn't kill you. The codeine is what is probably upsetting your stomach. The puking should stop in a while, however, if you continue to throw up blood and the vomiting doesn't stop you may want to go to an ER. Good luck

You've overdosed on acetominiphen. Throwing up is a good thing, but the blood could be one of two things; One, ulceration in your stomach; Two, esophageal hemmoraging.

UPDATE: Okay! All these people are telling you to go to the er. LISTEN! You will be okay. Call poison control and tell them exactly what you did. They will inform you on exactly what you're experiencing and whether or not you should seek medical help immediately. My guess is that they will tell you exactly what I did. Its the acetominaphin that is making you sick, and the blood is from the vomiting itself most likely. Anyway, before everyone gets you all wound up, call poison control. And don't call the er. They can't advise you on anything. They can't be liable for it.

Those pills make me sick too, never took them together though....

Evidently this is not a good mix. Made you sick right? I think you need to call the poison control place and ask them! Then or as you are talking to them drink some milk to coat your tummy, crackers or a piece of breed will absorb some of those drugs (remember I get sick on those drugs and been there and ouch!).

Wish you well!

You should never mix medications with out the direction of a professional. I hope you've already left for the ER as so many have suggested!

You need to go to the emergency room. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you can always call the emergency rm. and tell them what's going on and they will tell you if you need to come in or not. If you are vomitting up blood, that sounds serious to me and I would go to the emergency room. You have the number 3 in your question, but you said that you only took one of each. If you only took one of each, then I would call the emergency rm. If you took 3 of either one, then I would go to the emergency rm. But, don't just wait, do one or the other. Vomitting blood is serious.

IS THIS your first time to take these meds????? Sounds like it cause you are probably allergic to codeine. That is why you are vomiting.............but the blood???? Do you drink ALOT too????????? THAT will really cause you to throw up if you took those two meds which both have codiene and alcohol? And i KNOW a doctor would not prescibe you both these meds at the same time bc they are pretty much the same thing...........you better check yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, you'll know better next time??????????????? but good luck anyway......................
