I am a groovy 1960's hipster, so why am I alone?

I am a groovy 1960's hipster but am alone. I know all the 60's bands and can really shake a leg. I even know how to play the bongos. I would think the young chicks would be hot to trot with a hipster like me. I ask them if they want to have a great time playing records, but they scamper away immediatey. Is there a solution? Should I call Dr. Laura for her insight?
