She knows her owner is too stupid to be breeding dogs.
Yes, this idiot KEEPS asking breeding questions here. He has a dog with a PROBLEM and will not do anything constructive about it. Tries to help him about 10 posts ago, but CLEARLY he is BEYOND that. Too bad the dog doesn't up and run away to a better home with smart owners that are not consumed with making money off the poor dog.

Seriously, you shouldn't be breeding your dog. If you don't know about heat cycles and call mating "jumping on", then why are you breeding? I'm guessing that you aren't following the AKC guidelines, the guidelines laid out by your national breed club, or ANY responsible breeding guidelines, so just stop. Be a moral and responsible person and get your dogs fixed ASAP. The world doesn't need more dogs bred by Backyard breeders.
As far as your questions - dog don't bleed all the way through their heat cycle. She may let the male "jump on her" in the future, but I really really can't urge you enough not to let this happen.
People like you really make me sad and sick. Don't you care about *anything* else?

Edit: Is this the Golden Retriever that you've asked like 50 questions about? Goldies are EXTREMEMLY PRONE to genetic defects. You probably have a poor quality dog to begin with, and I'm guessing that you didn't bother to do ANY type of health screenings on her or the male. DON'T BREED HER. Goldies with bad genetics can have to be killed at 6 months old due to stupid breeders. DON'T CONTRIBUTE TO THIS!!! Read the Goldie website to find out more on being a responsible breeder. Currently, you do NOT fit the mold AT ALL! http://www.grca.org/acquiring.htm#breeding

The size of the dog matters. Large size dogs usually won't breed until the 10th day and then will usually breed again one day or two later. Small dogs may breed as early as the 3rd day.And if you do not already know these things you have absolutely no right to breed your dog and chances are the dog is not even worthy of breeding but you're going to anyway right?

How old is the female dog? they only bleed for 14 days day 10 is the most fertial... if she is to young she may not breed. if they hook up it will be 53 days till you have pups... if it is the first litter someone needs to be with her so she gets all the bags off the pups and make sure that they all nurse. good luck

Dog heat cycles last around 21 days, and they will only bleed for a few of those days.
If you don't know that, you shouldn't be breeding your dog.
