There is a lot of cruel stuff in the bible, but none of it is law in western societies (e.g. killing of those who don't respect their parents, etc.)

sharia might sound like cruel-----but its acually mercy----look at the cia fact book and the crime rate in saudi arabia is almost zero---because every body knows that if u steel that might cost u the tip of ur hand ----its mercy because it protect ppl from crimes and put the level of crimes to almost nul-----so u save the lifes of a bunch------trust me if that law is practiced , crime will disappear

The Levitical Laws of Old-- the killing ones where done away by THE GOD/JESUS !
He gave us two replacement Laws!
1 The shma.
2 Love neighbor as self!
With things like Sharia Law one looses all FREEDOM and use of FREE WILL! Gifts from THE GOD/JESUS!
