Well find out if it is winged off the mother if it's kitten. Then make sure you have a cat litter box. Also make sure it has a carpet pole or something to stratch on or else it will ter up your furniture with it's claws. But most important make sure he has his shots and feed it once or twice a day. And make sure he has lots of water. ANd when you disipline it don't just talk to it, hit it with a rolled up paper or Fly swatter. ANd give it lots of love and toys so he can play with them not your curtains. It's hard but you can do it.

Get cat litter tray and train them to use it. Buy a stratch post, otherwise your doors and furniture might get stratched. You can buy special kitten food and gradually introduce them to this.
